Sign Africa Nelspruit Attracts Visitors from Around SA and Abroad


The Sign Africa expo, which took place in Nelspruit at Emnotweni Arena on 29 June 2016, attracted a lot of visitors from Hazyview, Swaziland, Maputo, Carolina, Witbank, Lydenburg and Barberton, with 200 visitors attending the expo and exhibitors reporting strong leads and sales on the day. 

Platinum Expo sponsor Roland showcased its full range of cutting-edge equipment, including the new SolJet Pro 4 XR-640, the company's largest and fastest printer/cutter, as well as the SOLJET XF-640 High-Speed Inkjet Printer.

Platinum Expo sponsor Avery Dennison exhibited the Supreme Wrapping Film range and the recently launched Supreme Wrap Care Range.

Ruan Greeff was crowned the Nelspruit Speed Wrap King, winning a trip to compete in the Speed Wrap Challenge at the 2016 Sign Africa and FESPA Africa expo in Johannesburg. Printing SA hosted an informative Members Forum, which discussed topics such as: Training in the Printing and Packaging Industry; introducing the New Digital Print Training Programme; apprenticeships in the Printing and Packaging Industry and Printing SA’s skills Pool.

Falcon launched the Orafol car care cleaning kit for vehicle wrapping.

Red Hand Sign Supplies showcased the Nova and Square way-finding solutions, which they launched at the Cape Town Sign Africa expo in May.

Exion Corporation launched the Solar power solutions panel for signage. Also on the stand was their recently launched Warrior LED.

Judges visited each stand at the expo and judged the stands according to criteria based on design, staff friendliness and professionalism. The stand winners and runners up include:

Visitors can look forward to the upcoming Sign Africa expo in Johannesburg, which will be co-located with FESPA Africa, taking place from 7-9 September 2016 at the Gallagher Convention Centre.
