Mtex Solutions has launched a new large-format fabric printer with in-built heat fixation.
The Mtex 5032HS is a high-speed 3.2m-wide printer which takes a 400mm diameter jumbo roll that uses infrared technology. The Mimaki-based machine uses fifth-generation Ricoh heads.
Managing director of Mtex UK, Stewart Bell said, ‘You’re fixing sublimation on the fly. The machine can print flags at 120sqm/hr, front lit displays at 80sqm/hr and backlit at around 60sqm/hr, it’s really fast.’
