KIS Photo-Me Group Exhibits Photo Products At Sign Africa And FESPA Africa Expo

KIS Photo-Me Group showcased The Selfie Booth and other photo products at the Sign Africa and FESPA Africa Expo, which took place from 13-15 September at Gallagher Convention Centre.

The Selfie Booth is an additional feature for corporate events, weddings and birthday parties, leaving guests with unforgettable memories. Multiple options are available to personalise selfies and users can customise the screen saver, customer interface, photo backgrounds and the prints in order to promote a brand, a product or an organisation. In order to offer a variety of options for customers to choose from, a wide range of photographic products are available in the kiosk such as standard selfie photos, animated Gifs and fun pictures using Chromakey green screen technology.

The Speedlab® Cube and the Speedlab® Bio are photo printing kiosks fitted with a 27-inch multi-touch screen, which boasts a modern and user-friendly interface. Its intuitive features have been designed to make it easy to navigate, with built-in editing tools to enhance or personalise photographs. Customers will be able to print 10cm x 15cm (4 x 6 inch) or 30cm x 20 (12 x 8 inch) (Speedlab® Cube only) photographs instantly by using memory cards or USB’s, accessing their social media photo gallery, or transferring photos from smartphones and tablets via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, with a dedicated Photo-Me smartphone app available on Apple and Android.

This is an innovative milestone that revolutionises the photo development market. Standing, on a counter or hanging on the wall, the product is ultra-compact, simple and only 0,20sqm and 31kg. It offers an intuitive customer experience: the customer connects his/her smartphone or USB stick to the terminal, selects photos and carries out contactless payment.

The flagship photo booth has been conceived by the legendary French designer Philippe Starck. Customers can create pop art photos, postcards and seasonal themes, and upload the results to social media such as Facebook. This booth is equipped with exclusive Photo-Me® software to enable real-time checking and ensure that customers’ passport photos conform to the Passport Office standards.
