JG Electronics has announced an engraving tool for the Silhouette Cameo and Portrait line of entry level vinyl cutters. With this tool, it’s now possible to own an ‘engraver’ which is also a vinyl cutter for a fraction of the cost of a traditional engraving machine.
This tool, which has a tungsten carbide blade, engraves by scratching. Almost any hard product which can be put into the vinyl cutter can be engraved with this handy tool, including metals, glass, plastic, and Perspex.
