Graphix Supply World will launch Mimaki’s new 2012 digital print solutions at the Sign Africa RoadShow in Cape Town at the CTICC from 20-21 June, including the latest solvent, UV and Latex technology.
Mimaki SWJ-320 3.2m Wide Solvent Printer
GSW plan to launch the revolutionary high speed SWJ-320 S4 3.2m wide solvent at the RoadShow. In April this year, Mimaki Engineering Co., Ltd., the leading manufacturer of wide format inkjet printers, introduced two inkjet printer models ‘SWJ-320 S2’ and ‘SWJ-320 S4’ which are targeted at signage markets in emerging continents, namely China, Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin America. In response to the rising demand from emerging markets, the new ‘SWJ-320 S2/S4’ has been developed to produce high print quality in a grand-format segment, together with high speeds with an affordable price tag.
The ‘SWJ-320 S4’ high-speed model has four print heads, capable of reaching speeds up to 84.6sqm/h in draft mode. The 7pl minimum variable-size ink dots printing ensures beautiful print results without a grainy appearance. The ‘SWJ-320 S2/S4’ meets the increasing client demands for higher print quality at an affordable price.
One of the reasons many people select Mimaki products is because they have a reputation of being easy to use, with low maintenance cost. With functionalities such as built-in nozzle recovery to minimize downtime and fast drying 2L CS100 solvent ink, the SWJ-320 is a cost-effective, production 3.2m wide printer.
The newly developed CS1000 ink has excellent properties, producing the high Mimaki standards for colour accuracy, image durability and UV resistance found in conventional Mimaki solvent inks. The CS1000 ink viscosity has been developed to clog heads less often than other solvent inks, and drying time is minimised with three heaters and a drying fan.
