Grafityp has introduced a number of new Graficast Automotive & Deco (AMD) products, including additions to Graficast Matt Supercast films and Graficast Colour Wave films.
Graficast Matt Supercast films have until now only been available in white (MSC901) and black (MSC902). The company has completed this range by adding the colours yellow, orange, blue, red, green, silver and anthracite. These 90 micron cast films are perfect for car wrapping and other very demanding applications.
Graficast Colour Wave films have, until now, been offered in one single layer. When using these 60 micron films for car wrapping they had to be laminated in order to avoid matting when the films were stretched. A 95 micron multi-layered version of this film is now available that no longer needs to be laminated. Graficast Colour Wave films are available in 5 colour ranges, with references CW11, CW12, CW13, CW14 and CW15.
The company has also added PC55 (carbon silver) to its polymeric calendered carbon films. These polymeric calendered carbon films can be used as a less expensive alternative to the cast carbon films, but they can only be used on even and/or slightly undulating surfaces. These films are not suited for deep indents or extreme curves.
Some polymeric calendered wrap films have also been added to the range, including white, black, pink, blue, green, bronze and orange. These 100 micron polymeric wrap films are only suitable for even and/or slightly undulating surfaces, the same as the polymeric carbon films.
