Evonik Acrylics Africa (EAA) is committed to extending its African distribution footprint of PLEXIGLAS® products and increasing accessibility of this world leading brand acrylic to consumers.
To this end, EAA has signed a distribution agreement with Falcon Signage Supplies for the distribution of PLEXIGLAS® XT, extruded acrylic sheet in South Africa.

PLEXIGLAS® is one of the world’s best-known brands of thermoplastic and has become the very embodiment of acrylic (polymethyl methacrylate, or PMMA for short). This material stands out from other thermoplastics due to its extremely long service life and high resistance to UV and weathering. PLEXIGLAS® is also the only acrylic sheet available on the market that carries a guarantee of 30 years on clear grades and 10 years on coloured grades.

PLEXIGLAS® SatinIce
ACRYLITE® Satin Ice acrylic sheet has a frosted appearance throughout the entire sheet straight to the edge that offers excellent light diffusion for indoor or outdoor lit displays, panels and store fixtures. Its surface hides fingerprints and scratches for enhanced service life.
PLEXIGLAS® Endlighten
Embedded with colourless light diffusing particles that cause light to diffuse forward, ACRYLITE® EndLighten acrylic sheet accepts light through its edge and redirects it to the surface for bright, uniform illumination. EndLighten sheets are ideal for illuminated shelving, interior panels and ultra thin lightboxes signage and display applications.
PLEXIGLAS® Optical
The new coated PLEXIGLAS® Optical is resistant to scratching and chemicals and is suitable for picture glazing, furniture, exhibition booths and store fixtures as well as museum constructions. The coating on one side ensures that the surface quality remains intact even when exposed to heavy wear. The scratch-resistant coating can be produced in thicknesses of 1.5 to 16mm. The sheet is also UV-absorbing so it protects pictures and exhibits against yellowing.
