Dave Parkes from the UK has been announced as the winner of the FESPA Fabric 2015 'Design a tee' competition. Second and third places went to Daniela Asael from Germany and James Simonsen from the Czech Republic respectively.
Sponsored by GarmentPrinting.co.uk, the t-shirt competition received entries from around the world, with five designs shortlisted and displayed onsite at FESPA 2015 Global Expo, 18-22 May 2015. Visitors to the event had the chance to vote for their favourite galactic design, with Dave Parkes confirmed as the winner on Friday 22 May.
Now in its fifth year, FESPA Fabric 2015 offered visitors the opportunity to explore a universe of garment decoration and textile printing, including hands-on demonstrations and educational seminars.
FESPA Divisional Director, Roz McGuinness said, 'This year's entries illustrated the FESPA 2015 space theme perfectly, showing a host of creative designs. It's great to see members of the FESPA Fabric community actively engage with the competition which showcases the creative effects that can be achieved with garment printing. Congratulations to the three finalists.'
