Square Bean Announces Tri Flex Fabric Framing System

1143

Square Bean has developed an innovative fabric frame tensioning system that ensures a fabric will be installed neatly, without any need for repeat installations. It is an anodised brushed aluminium frame that features a three groove system to allow users more options when fitting the graphic or print.

Traditionally, frames that are used to accommodate fabrics have one groove to fit the chonk of the fabric in. However, the stitching of the chonk is often not exact or parallel, which results in sizing issues and/or non-fitment (or creasing) during the flighting phase.

The three groove system allows up to 40mm worth of options to work around should the converted print not be exact. Graphics are installed on the centre groove (groove number two). However, if the graphic is too big, it will fit into groove number three (the outermost groove), and if it is too small, it will be fitted into groove number one (the innermost).

Human error is eliminated in the converting phase, with no finger pointing or playing the blame game between all parties concerned within the design, printing and flighting process of getting fabric graphics and framing systems installed.

This system ensures that graphics are fitted first time, every time, even if the print is converted or printed larger or smaller than originally planned. The curved aluminium profile with snap covers allows for a tight, snug fit that always looks aesthetically pleasing.
