South African Business Wins Brother Christmas Contest

Brother has announced that South African company, Pic-a-Tee, won first prize in their Christmas contest.

Entrants needed to show how they spread the spirit of Christmas in their production. The competition was open to the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. The first prize included a set of CMYK+W (750ml) inks worth approximately R21,863 (€1200).

Martine Donachie, Founder and Managing Director, Pic-a-Tee, explained the inspiration behind their entry: ‘We simply love Christmas and our range of ready-made designs always put us in the Christmas mood. There is something about the Christmas spirit that gets us all creative and inspired. We know our customers love Christmas too and we encourage them to design their own Christmas apparel.’

Donachie said that the Brother direct to garment printer was perfect for this application. ‘The Brother GTX Pro is simply amazing. It provides us with so much variety and the quality of the prints are out of this world. The diverse opportunities that the Brother printer brings us, allows us and our clients to be even more creative.’

Pic-a-Tee purchased their Brother GTX Pro from Colorscreen, which represents Brother in South Africa, in 2020. ‘Their support on the Brother GTX Pro is incredible. Their team make you feel as though you are part of their team. We would choose Colorscreen and Brother over and over again,’ added Donachie.
