Sign Africa Expo organisers, Practical Publishing, are proud to announce Roland as the platinum sponsor for the 2014 FESPA Africa Expo and Sign Africa Regional Expo's. This is the seventh year that Roland has sponsored the event and its continued support signals the company's commitment to a long term association with the leading Sign, Display and Digital Graphics Expo in Africa.
The expo is the ideal platform for Roland to showcase its innovative range of wide-format inkjet printers, vinyl cutters, thermal transfer printer/cutters 3D scanners and milling devices, and engravers as well as its variety of solutions for the Graphics Arts and Design industries.
Over 74% of floor space has been reserved for FESPA Africa, and there has been a 40% increase in space booked for this exhibition over the 2013 Sign Africa Expo, an indication that the industry is enthusiastic about the event and is positive about its success. With hall 3 already sold out, FESPA Africa, which will showcase all aspects of wide format digital printing, garment decoration, screen printing and signage, is set to be the biggest expo for the industry in sub-Saharan Africa.
The exhibition, a joint venture between FESPA and South African event organiser Practical Publishing, will incorporate Sign Africa and Visual Communications Africa shows to provide printers, sign makers and visual communications practitioners a focused event to explore the latest technologies and trends.
'Showing a vote of confidence in the African visual communication industry, FESPA has taken note of a creative industry locale that has shown its ability to voluntarily co-operate, innovate, and add honest value to the visual communication artists of Southern Africa. The expo is a platform for Roland to gear the South African industry example to the rest of Africa and the world, as well as building relationships based on honesty and integrity,' said Bob Glenister, CEO Telpro Management, Roland distributor in South Africa.
'We are extremely proud to have the leading international brand Roland on board as a sponsor and believe this further enhances the expos's reputation as the leading expo in Africa,' said Dyelan Copeland, Sign Africa Expo organiser.
