Massivit 3D Launches 3D Printing Solution For Visual Communication Applications

Massivit 3D launches 3D printing solution for visual communication applications.

The new Massivit 1500 Exploration 3D Printer delivers an affordable, print shop friendly solution to enter the world of large format 3D printing.

This new business-enhancing solution is being debuted at ISA Sign Expo and is designed to enable print businesses of all sizes to target new revenue opportunities.

By incorporating 3D printed models or enhancements to existing 2D applications, print providers can expand their product portfolio to offer innovative and head-turning applications. These include: audience-engaging POP/POS displays, illuminated signage and props as well as high-endurance moulds for cost-effective thermoforming for the retail, advertising, entertainment, events and interior design markets.

Based on the company’s unique proprietary Gel Dispensing Printing technology, the Massivit 1500 can quickly produce lightweight, hollow pieces up to 1.45m (4.8 feet) high, which can be joined together to make any sized model or display.

Commenting on the launch, Avner Israeli, CEO of Massivit 3D, said, ‘The Massivit 1500 builds on the incredible global success of our flagship Massivit 1800 and further cements our position as a frontrunner of innovative solutions for next generation visual communication.’

Beyond integrating perfectly within an industrial or print shop environment, the Massivit 1800 and 1500 address a growing demand for greater customisation in traditional signage and displays. This includes attention-grabbing channel lettering along with unique soft signage structures.

Traditional manufacturing methods often require a lengthy turnaround time, mostly dependent on manual labour, to produce metal applications and, should iterations be required, this could often escalate manufacturing costs. With Massivit 3D’s solutions offering geometric freedom, sign businesses can transform standard channel lettering or soft signage into complex structures in a fraction of the time and cost compared to traditional methods.

Avner Israeli concluded, ‘ISA Sign Expo has proven to be very successful for us and we’re extremely excited to return with the landmark launch of the Massivit 1500. We expect that the market’s reaction will be very positive as we expand the accessibility of our trailblazing technology to a wider audience.’
