Kemtek Print Solutions has announced that it has concluded a distribution agreement with ARISTO Graphic Systeme GmbH & Co. KG, to market its state-of-the-art, multi-functional cutting tables in South Africa.

‘The ARISTO agreement, along with the recent Durst Rho Inkjet printing systems supply contract, forms part of our strategy to offer a complete solution to wide format customers in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa,’ said Gavin van Rensburg, CEO of Kemtek Print Solutions.

‘Aristo already has a significant market share, with over 30 installations in South Africa, and Kemtek’s proud reputation for technical support, after-sales service and national support, via five strategically situated branches, is what attracted Aristo to Kemtek as its preferred distributor.’

Founded in 1862, originally as a factory for mathematical and calibration instruments, ARISTO has made an international name for itself as a supplier of slide rules and drawing aids, and more. It was the pioneer in Germany of geometric data processing and is today the leading German manufacturer of large-format, computer-controlled multi-functional flatbed cutters for the precise CAD/CAM processing of all non-metallic substances, rigid or flexible.

Building on its existing success with its impressive ARISTOMAT systems, ARISTO has recently received numerous national and international patents, awards and acclaim for its ARISTOMAT LFC Series of large-format cutting tables.

These specific cutters are sturdy and robust as well as quick, precise and reliable. Their ergonomic construction and uninhibited access from all directions provide optimal workflow efficiency and the ARISTOMAT LFC powerful vacuum technology guarantees process security.

The LFC 5232, demonstrated at drupa 2012, can cut, groove, score and mark a variety of different roll and plate materials such as solid or corrugated card, plastics, foam, transparencies and glass fibre up to 50mm thick.

The widest model in the LFC range, measuring 5.200mm x 5.200mm, is considered to be the largest digital cutting table in the world.

All ARISTOMAT cutters are controlled from PC, using the easy-to-use CutterControlPanel software, which is available in several languages. An additional mobile control pad allows navigating or setting the origin from anywhere around the cutter.

Multifunctional tool heads automatically change integrated tools and they can be combined with additional tool modules to process different materials.

‘Innovation, precision, reliability, high-performance and fair prices are ARISTO’s key principles,’ said Michael Hock, ARISTO chief sales manager. ‘The success of our worldwide exports and long standing reputation stems from outstanding service, plus decades of experience and reliability. Kemtek Print Solutions shares our passion and expertise in the industry and I am confident that its specialised team will make quick inroads in the South African market with our extensive range of precision-builARISTOMAT cutting tables,’ concluded Hock.
