The company manufactures its own frames and hardware for the above mentioned products, so any products bought can be repaired or parts replaced if the need arises.
The company has also just installed the HP Designjet L26500 latex printer, in its Cape Town Factory, which will open new markets for it as latex has many benefits over solvent. It was the first HP L26500 that Midcomp has installed for a customer in Cape Town.
The company can now offer eco-friendly printing to hospitals and food outlets where fumes emanating from solvent prints have previously been an issue. The fact that the printer’s speed is so efficient and the fact that the prints come off the machine dry has also enabled Pop-Up Products to reduce its turn-around time to its customers.
