Graphics One (GO) will launch its new hybrid UV ink and UV printing system. The new ink technology used to make the hybrid UV ink while it upgrades any eco-solvent printer into a UV printing system is an amalgamation of UV ink and eco carrier solution that combines both technologies.
The ink is of superior colour quality with high gloss and adhesion up to 100 times better than traditional eco ink and outstanding scratch resistance.
GO’s e-UV ink is instantly dry and can be used immediately after the image is printed and cured, and the e-UV system has a small carbon footprint and does not use nickel in its yellow ink, making it an environmentally friendly product.
Using GO’s roll up UV curing lamps simplifies curing the UV ink, as the UV LampBar includes an e-UV lamp which consumes very little energy which is about the same as an incadescent bulb and lasts up to 10,000 hours.
Kerby Bonilla, GO’s Technical Support and Product Development said ‘GO’s e-UV system provides amazing benefits with a cost savings on ink alone of up to 30%, and the outstanding quality of the images is further enhanced with its ability to work with virtually all eco-solvent substrates’.
The e-UV system can also be used for car wraps without lamination, a user can be up and running quickly and not have to spend thousands roll-to-roll UV printer. We have been stunned with the overall gloss and vibrancy and we are sure our customers will love this new UV hybrid technology, Bonilla added.
Installing system is easy as the industrial curing lamp is comes in a roll-up unit which sits in front of the printer.
