The Sign Africa and FESPA Africa Expos were an opportunity for Epic Distribution to showcase itself as a professional print production partner, with a strong focus on high-quality, reliable printing for businesses, resellers, branding companies and the wider personalisation industry.
Visitors at the stand could learn about the company’s production services which include:
– UV DTF printing: up to 600mm wide using their nine-colour system.
– DTF printing for apparel and textile decoration.
– Sublimation printing.
– Eco-solvent printing for signage, stickers and vinyl applications.
– Printed frosted/sandblast vinyl.
– Contravision printing.
– Posters and canvas printing.
At the stand were numerous application samples showcasing the business’s capabilities.
‘One of the capabilities we are particularly proud of is our 600mm wide, nine-colour UV DTF printing system. This allows us to produce exceptionally vibrant, detailed UV DTF transfers with excellent colour reproduction, including white ink and varnish effects. The wider 600mm format also gives us substantial production capacity while allowing us to make efficient use of media,’ said Jaco Pretorius, Epic Distribution.
Epic is also continuing to invest in making print ordering easier for its customers. One of their latest developments is the Epic Gang Sheet Builder, which allows customers to upload their artwork, automatically trim unnecessary transparent space, auto-nest their designs to optimise the available print area, select quantities and sizes, and submit their gang sheets online.
‘Our objective with Epic is to become a dependable B2B print production hub for businesses that either do not have the equipment to produce these products themselves or need additional production capacity without having to invest in more machinery.
‘Quality is a major focus for Epic Distribution. We have invested in professional production equipment and workflows specifically to deliver consistent, high-quality output rather than simply competing on price.’
The event was sponsored by Roland and Stixo.
