Exion Corp will demonstrate how to make silicon and LED separated neon-flex signage at the Graphics, Print and Sign Expo, taking place from 14-16 September at the Gallagher Convention Centre, 9am-5pm.
Exion’s two-part neon-flex solution (the silicon cover and zigzag LED strip are separate) is accurate as well as fast and easier to work with compared to the silicon integral neon-flex. For the silicon integral, there is a distance by which a user is governed for cutting between the LEDs, which can be between 20mm to 30mm, and may cause abnormal distortion to letters or shapes.
In the case of the two-part type, the user can use Exion’s 8mm and 6mm router bit to engrave the desired letter or shape, and then attach the zigzag strip to the engraving spot. After that, the user can clip on the desired colour of silicon.
All the accessories and materials are available:
– 8mm, 6mm silicon covers in various (12 different) colours.
– Zigzag (S-type) LED strips in various colours that fit over the top.
– 90 degree carving chisel (ENF-TOOL-90DG).
– Round carving chisel (ENF-TOOL-RG).
– 6mm and 8mm router bits (ENF-BIT-8×10/ENF-BIT-6×10).
– Clear wires for between the LED or LED to PSU.
– PSUs from 5watts to 1000watts.
