Indi Graphics, Printed Walls and Signal Reklame GmbH have been announced as winners in the Avery Dennison® GoforPro Contest 2013.
The GoforPro Contest 2013 ran during the last three months of 2013. As a web-based digital graphics competition, it allowed converters and installers to share images of their most unusual and well-installed digital print applications. The entries received included a very imaginative range of decoration for cars, scooters and even bath tubs.
John Coppens, senior marketing programmes manager at Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions Europe said, ‘We are always impressed by the standard of work revealed in competitions of this kind. It’s great to see applications that really push the limits, and the 2013 GoforPro Contest attracted entries from more than 50 of our converters and installers across Europe. Both the quality of the end results and the levels of creativity on display were genuinely remarkable.’
The three winning companies have been awarded trips to the training centres of HP in Barcelona, Epson in Milan, and Mimaki in Istanbul.
High application standards were a core focus of the 2013 GoforPro Contest, with an emphasis on projects showcasing the results that are possible using optimal materials and inks, including the new Avery Dennison MPI™ 1950 Cast Film for all printer platforms. Many of the entries benefited from using Avery Dennison Easy Apply™ technology, which makes the most demanding digital print applications far less of a challenge.
