Eastrand Colour Centre Launches Plasti Dip Rubber Coating

Eastrand Colour Centre launched Plasti Dip, a multi-purpose air dry, speciality rubber coating. It can be easily applied by dipping, brushing, or spraying. Plasti Dip protective coating is ideal for a broad array of do-it yourself projects around the home, garage and elsewhere.

It protects coated items against moisture, acids, abrasion, corrosion and skidding or slipping. It provides a comfortable controlled grip. Plasti Dip remains flexible and stretchy over time and will not crack or become brittle in extreme weather conditions. It has been tested and proven in temperatures from -1°C (-30°F) to 94°C (200°F). It maintains its flexibility, stretchiness and other physical characteristics throughout this entire scale.

This rubber coating won’t get brittle or crack in the cold, and it won’t melt or become rubbery at high temperatures. Plasti Dip is used for vehicle customising and doing complete wraps with the product. Not only is it decorative, but also acts as a skin for your vehicle.

Liquid vinyl can successfully be used to compliment normal vinyl wrapping techniques, and it is a stable platform to integrate with print and cut vinyl as well as pigmented vinyl through most of the ranges available.

Advantages over normal vinyl wrapping:
– No need to bring a blade to the car through the Liquid vinyl dipping process (no damage to the vehicle surface through human error).
– Easy removal, no adhesive residue left behind or yellowing due to sun damage on adhesive.
– Palsti Dip will not treat rust, but it will stop the rust at the time of the dip.
– UV stable.
– Attain wrap finishes that are impossible to do with conventional vinyl techniques due to the liquid and spray application in difficult areas as Plasti Dip adheres to more surfaces than vinyl.
– Wrap vehicle rims and brake calipers (open a new side to your existing signage and print company).
– Less labour required when doing vehicles.

Plasti Dip SA is a well established company and has the full backing of Plasti Dip USA through the Performix brand. There are Colour Centres and distributors in most major areas in SA.
