A variety of display and POS solutions will be presented at viscom frankfurt 2012 from 25 to 27 October. Presenting brands to the best effect, informing customers and influencing purchasing behaviour directly at the point of sale: state-of-the-art equipment for product presentation is an indispensable element when fitting out sales premises. This will be an important focus at the expo.
Since 2010, viscom has been bringing manufacturers and suppliers of display, POS and packaging solutions together in one place. A new feature this year is the Display POS Expo which, as a fair within the fair, will be even more in the spotlight as an independent segment. In accordance with viscom’s new brand strategy, which focuses on a total of six theme worlds, the Display POS Expo will be specifically highlighted with a logo of its own. ‘This way, we respond to the growing interest on the part of exhibitors and visitors from this segment,’ said viscom Director Petra Lassahn. ‘This is yet another reason to further promote this segment as a fair within the fair.’ Its target groups include marketing decision-makers from the retail and industry sectors, brand manufacturers, advertising agencies, in-store management, shop-fitting and display specialists, store design, interior decoration and visual merchandising.
Presentation of the Superstar award
The competition for the well-known Superstar award, which is presented during the fair by the display Verlag publishing house in cooperation with viscom organiser Reed Exhibitions, again forms part of Display PoS Expo. The prize is awarded to exhibits from the Short-term, Long-term, International, Digital Signage and Consumer Packaging categories. The Superstar is held for the 19th time this year.
