TULIP INKS REPORTS SUCCESS IN SOUTH AFRICA

1809

The TULIP inks brand is growing in South Africa, with products sold to Panda Sportswear and digital printers SOHO.

Panda Sportswear’s business has gained the competitive edge thanks to TULIP inks. The business is focused on producing high quality printed sportswear using the dye sublimation process. This process entails using TULIP TX70 dye sublimation inks on Roland dye sublimation printers, with TULIP ICC colour profiles to give a rich colour gamut and faithful colour reproduction.

SOHO has successfully converted all their large format printers to TULIP inks. TULIP colour expert Abdul Moghith Khawam handled the conversion and colour profiling work. The company has achieved outstanding print and colour quality on their multiple Roland eco-solvent printers, Roland textile printer and HP printers. The benefits to SOHO’s business are immense. With consistent colour accuracy across all their printers, SOHO is able to increase production, satisfy more customers including the most demanding, and save more than 50% on ink costs. Through a special insider technique during the colour profiling process, a further economy on ink consumption of up to 20% is achieved.
