Sign Of The Week: Total Signs

Sign Of The Week- Total Signs

Durban-based Total Signs recently completed Takealot channel letter signage used at the online retailer’s new KwaZulu-Natal depot.

The signage is 14m wide, the tallest letter is 2.3m high and the diameter of the circle is nearly 3m. The total number of LED’s used is over 1500 modules. The signage was produced on an Exion V3 Machine that Total Signs purchased from Exion Corp.

‘At Exion, our main objective has always been to offer not only the best quality materials, but also to partner with our customers to help them achieve the best result,’ said Jay Kim, director at Exion.

‘Following consultation with the technical experts from Exion, it was apparent that turnaround time was key to customer satisfaction and that the V3 Machine was the only logical solution,’ commented Craig Naidoo from Total Signs.

‘Since purchasing the V3 machine, we have managed to drastically reduce the quoting and our fabrication time, which is obviously a huge benefit to our clients, not to mention our own productivity. The installation was quick and easy, and the training on both the machine and the software were effortless as they provided an accurate number of LEDs and power supply unit,’ added Naidoo.

‘This kind of happy ending is exactly what motivates us to go out each day and share our expertise with whomever may have a need in the signage industry,’ concluded Kim.
