Roland's new TrueVIS VG Series of inkjet printers/cutters have been completely re-imagined. The TrueVIS VG-640, which features new Roland DG FlexFire print heads that fire precision droplets in three sizes and a wide print swath to deliver high quality output and efficient ink usage, will be exhibited at the Sign Africa Nelspruit Expo, taking place on 29 June at the Emnotweni Arena.

The VG-640 features TrueVIS INK, available in 4-colour (CMYK), 7-colour (CMYKLcLmLk) or 7-colour plus White (CMYKLcLmLk+Wh), delivers exceptional quality in cost-effective 500cc pouches, with reusable cartridges. In dual 4-colour ink configuration, the Roland Ink Switching System automatically switches to the backup ink pouch when the primary pouch runs out.

The printer has integrated contour cutting to maximise versatility with print and contour cut. A new carriage and blade offer increased down force and accuracy, allowing you to work with a wider variety of media, like decals and labels, banners, signs, vehicle, window and wall graphics, apparel, stickers, posters and more.

The new wireless Roland DG Mobile Panel allows you to perform control panel functions with your existing smartphone (iOS or Android operating systems) using a Bluetooth connection. This innovative new feature provides a rich interface directly on, or remotely in, range of your TrueVIS, so you can receive status updates and remotely manage production, test printing and cleaning functions.
