Rexx Screen & Digital Supplies Launching New Kornit DTG System At Sign Africa And FESPA Africa

Kornit’s HD systems enable new levels of print quality, suitable for the fashion and retail markets. Rexx Screen & Digital Supplies will launch the Kornit Storm HD6 DTG System at the Sign Africa and FESPA Africa Expo, taking place from 11-13 September at Gallagher Convention Centre.

The company will also showcase a range of innovations including screen printing equipment and consumables, direct to garment printers and consumables, cutting plotters and heat presses, heat transfer films and laser transfer papers, as well as premium quality blank garments.

Kornit Digital Storm HD6

Kornit’s HD print engine, combined with the NeoPigment Rapid ink, leads to significant reductions in ink consumption and cost per print. The Storm HD6 will reduce both by approximately 30% compared to the Storm Hexa.

Polyprint Texjet Echo2

The Texjet Echo2 print head uses the smallest drop size of 3pl to achieve precision to detail and allows photorealistic quality prints that will make your products stand out. Features include quick garment loading with the auto height adjustments. Snap-on magnetic platens add pop-up guiding messages on the display.

Chiossi E Cavazzuti SPEEDY-T folding machine

The SPEEDY-T is a folding and semi-automatic packaging machine. Indispensable for fast and uniform folding of T-shirts, it can be adapted to suit all shapes and sizes available on the market. The blades, which can be easily adjusted and are interchangeable, make it possible to suit the fold to the required size in a few seconds, so that it is possible to fold baby T-shirts as well as extra large sizes.

See international industry expert, Charlie Taublieb, in action at the REXX Screen and Digital Supplies stand in hall 2 for hands-on screen printing demonstrations. You will learn different techniques all taught by Taublieb, who has been in the screen printing industry since 1976, and heads up Taublieb Consulting in Greenwood Village, Colorado, a company specialising in technical screen printing consulting for textile printers.

Taublieb will be working with two different designs. One is a 6 colour plastisol: 3D 6 colour Rhino design being printed wet on wet using RexxPlas plastisols. The second design will be on the Vastex V 100 4 colour carousel. This is a 3 colour water base print using Magna Colours’ speciality inks including Chalkboard (you can write on the finished print with chalk and wipe it off when you’re done!), bling and reflective.

Visitors will also be able to see live demonstrations include GCC cutting plotters, Schulze heat presses and Galaxy Press heat presses.
