Planar DirectLight Slim Series LED displays feature an ultra-slim, narrow-profile form factor that accommodates curved and space-constrained applications that benefit from its unique design. The company expanded its Planar® DirectLight® Slim Series line of fine pixel pitch LED video wall displays with a new Low Power Model.
Delivering 500 nits of brightness while consuming just 68 watts of power, the new model is optimised for energy-conscious customers and environments with low ambient light conditions.
Its reduced width also minimises colour shift at wide viewing angles, enhancing image uniformity in curved video wall designs. It is ideal for applications including control rooms, broadcast studios, virtual production stages, XR environments, simulation and training centres, research facilities and more. In addition to supporting curved video walls, Planar DirectLight Slim Series excels in flat installations where space is limited, thanks to its compact depth and full front serviceability.
Planar DirectLight Slim Series Low Power and Standard Models are available in 0.9, 1.2, 1.5 and 1.8mm pixel pitches, feature MicroLED technology and use a unique 4:9 aspect ratio to support deployment versatility and high visual impact.
