Signmaking company Parafe was awarded the contract for the technical design, fabrication and the installation of the signage and decoration for the Saint-Charles main rail station, the Aix high speed train station and the Marseille-Provence airport. For the signmaking media, Parafe relied on HEXIS vinyl films for the installations.
In 2012 the organisers of Marseille-Provence 2013 European Capital of Culture launched a project appealing to artistes, designers and sign makers to relook the ‘Gates of the Capital’: the Saint-Charles main rail station, the Aix high speed train station and the Marseille-Provence airport.
