ORAFOL has opened an office in Windhoek, Namibia. According to Carl Smit, who will run this office, customers can expect to find just about everything under the ORAFOL brand, such as reflective materials, vinyls and double-sided tapes. The office opened in January, but started to trade formally in May this year.
Etienne Smit, ORAFOL South Africa Managing Director, added, ‘We noticed that there were a lot of Namibian visitors at the Sign Africa Expos, and we thought that opening an office in Namibia would be a good opportunity to service our customers in the region. We’ve made a lot of sales in Namibia, but transport and lead times were quite a problem, so now the new office there can handle the demand.’
In Namibia, and like in South Africa, print vinyls and reflective materials will be a key product focus.
