Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems (Kongsberg PCS) will demonstrate how the flagship Kongsberg C64 table can simplify any job while also bringing designs to life.
Visitors to this month’s C!Print event in Lyon, taking place from 31 January – 2 February, will be able to see first-hand the power, performance and versatility of the Kongsberg C64. Built for the highest level of performance and redefining the possibilities of digital finishing, the Kongsberg C64 offers speeds of 100m/min (66 in/sec) and acceleration up to 1.7G, with quick and precise tool movements making high quality digital production possible, even under the tightest of deadlines.

The table works with a wide variety of optional tool units, with multiple tool combinations available during production, depending on the materials being processed. The tooling system includes a material thickness probe and an optional camera for registering printed and unprinted material.
‘At C!Print, we’ll demonstrate the Kongsberg High Frequency Vibracut Knife Tool,’ said Espinasse. ‘With its powerful motor, it is ideal for cutting heavily recycled board at efficient speeds. We’ll also show visitors how the Rigid Material Knife Tool excels at everything from lightweight detailed work to cutting heavy rigid board like plastic foamed PVC 3mm,’ said Espinasse.
‘We’ll demonstrate our specialist PressCut Knife Tool, developed for kiss cutting adhesive vinyl and foils, as well as the RotaCut Tool for cutting textiles, canvas, mesh and other air transparent materials,’ he added. ‘The set-up will be completed with a wide format roll feeder, which simplifies and adds further speed and efficiency to production.’
