BIOND
BIOND are bio-based, carbon-neutral films that transform the way print companies create environmentally friendly applications. The films were designed with the environment in mind, with the long-term goal of evolving large format print with nature’s touch.
Crafted from plant-based products, BIOND represents the definitive crossover between sustainability and unparalleled printing performance. Fully patented, BIOND has been developed by a manufacturer that has more than 40 years of industry expertise and a long-term legacy of sustainability.
The BIOND collection is currently split into four core categories: printing films, protection films, décor films and glass décor, with each section offering a selection of speciality products to suit a wide range of applications. Whether it is producing retail graphics to tell the eco-story of the customer or stunning wall and window decorations to spread awareness of the client’s own sustainable achievement, BIOND is not only visually impactful but environmentally responsible.
The films contain 85%+ bio-based content, do not contain any volatile organic compounds, and are free from harmful substances such as phthalates and chlorine.
In addition, all BIOND products use a water-based adhesive and are manufactured using processes that are 85% solar-powered. While very much environmentally focused in nature, BIOND materials still behave in the same way as traditional PVC vinyl films.
However, the critical difference is that BIOND is truly sustainable, with customers able to create environmentally conscious applications without having to compromise on quality.
BIOND films can be stretched without tearing, opening up their use in print and cut projects, while they are supplied in several finishes including wood, stone and canvas to offer more flexibility to the user.
These environmental credentials have been confirmed to EU Standard CENT/TS 16137:2011 for bio-based content, while all BIOND products are FSC-certified and recognised by EcoVadis. On top of this, they all carry Fire Resistance (B-s1,d0) and R9 Anti-Slip Rating validations and have been accredited in line with REACH, RoHS and SVHC standards and regulations.
In large format printing, achieving a balance between performance and sustainability has always had to make some form of sacrifice. BIOND alters this. BIOND bio-renewable films are unlike traditional materials, because they are designed to solve actual operational problems that printers contend with while maintaining professional-grade outcomes.
BIOND guarantees a seamless printing experience: all major printing technologies like UV LED, UV Gel, latex and eco-solvent integrate to BIOND smoothly. There is no need to modify profiles or change workflows.
The high-performance liner prevents curling and waving. This guarantees accurate feeding and print quality consistency and mitigates material waste between jobs. It also features custom adhesive alternatives: high-tack solvent-free strong adhesive, or repositionable dot matrix that provides easy application without residue.

Euro-Flex Gloss And Matt Lamination
Gloss: the monomeric, REACH compliant PVC film is ideal for cold lamination. Matt: the monomeric REACH and RoHS compliant PVC film is also ideal for cold lamination. Both are suitable for medium-term indoor and outdoor applications and can be used to protect UV printed media.
Euro-Flex Gloss And Matt Monomeric Vinyl
The monomeric REACH compliant gloss PVC film, and monomeric REACH
and RoHS compliant matt PVC film, are suitable for use in a wide variety of applications with flat and slightly curved surfaces. They are also ideal for colour intensive and brilliant prints for short to medium-term advertisements, both indoor and outdoor. They feature high adhesion to a wide variety of substrates including various plastics, Foamex, glass and aluminium. They offer excellent printing performance on a wide variety of solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV digital print machines.
Euro-Flex Sand Blast Vinyl
This high-quality polymeric glass decoration film has an etched effect. The film is cuttable with a plotter. Air channels in the adhesive allow good application on picture windows. The vinyl is REACH and RoHS compliant.
