Caldera Announces Support For Epson Wide-Format Printer

Epson’s first UV LED wide format printer is now compatible with CalderaRIP software, in which it is supported with a new driver for CalderaRIP Version 15. This flatbed printer enables signage manufacturers to increase their productivity and expand their product offerings.

While offering exceptional image quality, the Epson SC-V7000 is a flexible device allowing printers to tackle a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications. Furthermore, the printer features Epson’s unique UltraChrome UV ink configuration, including red, grey, white and varnish.

CalderaRIP embeds advanced features in a user-friendly interface to ease the daily operations in industrial printing, textile printing, signage, graphics, home décor, vehicle graphics and more. Moreover, Caldera is a multi-brand solution designed to drive an entire fleet of print and cut devices from different manufacturers.

High-demanding production environments can benefit from the automation features to save valuable time. For example, Caldera’s powerful True Shape Nesting algorithm generates perfectly optimised layouts, resulting in significant time and media-savings.

SmartImport (accessible for users with an active subscription to CalderaCare) can automatically extract meta-data from the filename, such as the number of copies, targeted printer or presets in order to speed up job submission workflows. Combined with Caldera’s Smart Hotfolders, users will be able to process multiple jobs simultaneously to be more productive and increase ROI.

When it comes to colour accuracy, CalderaRIP embeds premium components to ensure perfect results no matter the application or substrate. The latest version of the powerful Adobe PDF Print Engine ensures a reliable reproduction of designs on any surface, while the outstanding X-Rite i1Prism Profiler manages ICC profiling to ensure consistent colours and smooth gradients.
