The Women in Print Series is designed to celebrate the invaluable contributions of women, foster professional growth, and drive future-forward discussions. The 2023 Women in Print Series won the FP&M SETA award for Best Project Addressing Gender – ‘Women Headed Projects’. This recognition highlights the impact that the Women in Print series has had on the industry and in particular its contribution towards recognising the emergence of a new youthful, intelligent, creative and vibrant woman that is reshaping the industry as we know it.
The Women in Print Series, being held in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town during August, has already changed and shaped the lives of countless women in the industry. It returns with a renewed commitment to do even more, aiming to solidify its position as an annual hub for African women in the printing and design industries and sectors. Africa Print, Sign Africa and Modern Marketing are proud to be media partners.
The events will provide unparalleled opportunities to connect with peers, industry leaders, and mentors. This year’s event, under the inspiring theme ‘Empower, Innovate, Inspire: Shaping the Future Together’, continues a powerful tradition.
‘The Women in Print Series is more than just an event; it’s a movement dedicated to elevating women’s voices and leadership within our industry,’ said Abisha Katerere, creator and Head: Business Development and Marketing at Printing SA.
‘Having witnessed the transformative impact of our previous events, we are incredibly excited to bring this empowering platform back to Johannesburg.
