Cost efficient and easy to operate Ricoh systems demonstrate a diverse range of possibilities.
From custom wall boards, banners and cut outs to T-shirts, hats and bags, Print Service Providers (PSPs) experienced what Ricoh’s creative portfolio could deliver at FESPA 2018, May 15-18, Messe Berlin.
Inspiring real-life applications demonstrated new worlds of business building opportunities that the sign and display and décor sectors can offer with Ricoh’s cost efficient and easy to operate systems.
A visitor must-see was Bianchi Corner, a simulation of a typical Bianchi shop where high-end bicycles from the famous Italian performance bicycle company are displayed together with dedicated in-store branding materials. Everything was produced using Ricoh technology including:
Rigid totems, cut out bike shapes and 2m x 1m and 3m x 2m wall boards, all on 5mm Forex, and bike details on 500mm x 350mm 4mm thick clear Plexiglass, were created on a Ricoh Pro T7210 UV flatbed printer.
Roll up and PVC banners, textile flags and vinyl stickers were produced on a Ricoh Pro L4160 latex wide format printer.
Hats, T-shirts and bags were produced with Ricoh Ri 100 and Ricoh Ri 6000 direct to garment printers.
The rest of the stand was transformed with a brightly-coloured jungle theme showcasing the eye-catching and creative results Ricoh technology can deliver. Among the highlights were multiple styles of display units, all printed on a Pro T7210 using 10mm Falcon Board. The system’s industrial application versatility will also be underlined by all the stand’s graphic wall displays, printed on melamine-covered chipboard.
Printed glass, wood, tile and aluminium were shown alongside carton board packaging samples too. The creative mix was enhanced further with Forex guitars from the Pro T7210 and PVC banners produced by the Ricoh Pro L4160 plus jungle themed T-shirts, sweatshirts, bags, and hats created by Ricoh’s flexible direct to garment production systems, the Ri 100, Ri 3000 and Ri 6000.
Graham Kennedy, head of commercial inkjet business, commercial and industrial printing group, Ricoh Europe said, ‘In the vibrant print jungle we want to help PSPs create a clear path to profitability. That is why our continuously evolving and expanding portfolio of innovative systems and solutions assure high quality applications that support any operation’s search for new revenue streams.’
