Agfa Flatbed And Automation Solutions Awarded
Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS

The Pinnacle Product Awards, administered by PRINTING United, are among the printing industry’s most respected honours, celebrating technologies that advance quality, capability, and productivity across print production. Agfa has received two 2026 Pinnacle Product Awards, recognising both its Onset Panthera FB3216 and its MAX automation ecosystem for the Jeti Tauro platform.

The Onset Panthera FB3216 has been recognised in the RTR/Hybrid/Flatbed New Technology category, while Agfa’s MAX automation solutions for the Jeti Tauro earned the award in the Non-Output, Automation Equipment category.

Onset Panthera FB3216

The Onset Panthera FB3216 is the only true flatbed press on the market, designed for high-volume, high-performance flatbed production, reaching top speeds of 1514sqm or 295 beds/h across sign and display and packaging applications. At its core is an integrated LED curing system that enables a wider colour gamut and the ability to produce high-quality satin and high-gloss results at production speeds.

Its LED curing approach also enables gloss control without varnish, allowing print service providers to produce high-gloss effects directly in production. Combined with the Onset LED ink set, based on Agfa’s Thin Ink Layer technology, the system supports low ink consumption and reduced energy use, helping lower operating costs and environmental impact. Optional automation features further enhance the Panthera’s functionality, including a laytable or autoloader, combined with loading and unloading robots.

Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS MAX Automation

Agfa’s MAX automation ecosystem for the Jeti Tauro H3300 platform is designed to help print service providers struggling under rising labour costs, tighter turnaround expectations, and growing pressure to maximize equipment utilisation. These features move wide-format production beyond isolated machine speed toward fully integrated production efficiency, combining high-speed hybrid printing with integrated robotic substrate handling, motorised media guides, and flexible rigid and roll-to-roll production. The MAX BOT robotic handling system enables print service providers to scale automation based on current needs while keeping a clear path for future expansion.

The system supports up to 150 robotic load cycles per hour, with multi-sheet and two-up production enabling even higher board throughput depending on job configuration. It handles a wide range of substrates, including corrugated board, plastics, and paper, with formats up to 2.1 x 3.3m.

When combined with Agfa’s MAX Flex RTR module, the system allows seamless switching between rigid and roll media, supporting a broader application range without compromising productivity.
