This is a hands-on, industry-ready programme designed to equip learners with the mechanical, electrical, and digital skills needed in today’s smart manufacturing world. From CNC machines to digital printing and modern automation software, this course prepares ambitious learners to thrive in the world of advanced manufacturing and innovation.
The Digital Machine Age Specialist Programme is for school-leavers with basic IT knowledge who are ready to build a career in the modern industry. This hands-on, two-month course will equip attendees with the real-world skills needed to operate, maintain, and understand CNC and digital printing machines, while introducing them to the electrical, mechanical, and digital systems that power smart factories.
Some of the content that can be learned includes: machinery: electrical and mechanical; printing, CNC and digital control; operation of printing and CNC machines; popular software for production; case studies for business and industry; and tours of renowned South African businesses.
Course Details
Session 1: 12 January -13 March 2026.
Session 2: 13 April – 12 June 2026.
Session 3: 13 July – 11 Sept 2026.
Session 4: 5 October – 4 December 2026.
Each session is 8 weeks, and takes place Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm (6 effective hours). Limited seats available. Address: 2 Makro Place, Sunnyrock, Germiston.
