Graphic Box took delivery of their P-1200 Zünd cutter in August 1990, five years after starting up their business in Central London. At the time, the company was managed by Lawrence Minton, the father of Paul Minton. The company has one of the oldest fully operational Zünd machines in the UK.
The business is a father and son run company specialising in conferences, exhibitions, television and event graphics. Based in the heart of London, the family-run business has been providing a variety of services including large format print, cut vinyl, polystyrene letters, computer routing and pop-up displays for over 35 years.
The company pride themselves on being a one-stop service for all their customers, from supplying artwork to production and installation where they provide a full in-house service. Paul Minton at Graphics Box explained, ‘We are a friendly, professional service and pride ourselves on going that extra mile to ensure our clients are more than satisfied with the finished product, and we are able to work to tight deadlines without losing that personal touch. This is what makes us different compared to the other suppliers.’
Lawrence Minton said, ‘Graphic Box was a leader in supplying graphics to the exhibition and conference industries and wished to stay at the forefront in producing both vinyl lettering and routed letters. The Zünd P-1200 cutter with its router suited our needs better than any other machine at the time and in the 30 years we have had it, has never let us down.’
In addition, Graphic box takes great pride in making sure their Zünd cutter is always running to its optimum performance and still have a service contract in place with Zünd UK. Dean Ashworth, Sales and Marketing Manager at Zünd UK said, ‘Here at Zünd UK we are proud to have supported Graphics Box with a single Zünd cutter that has met all of their cutting requirements for the last 30 years. This longevity alone really does pay testament to the unrivalled quality of engineering of our products and it is great to see that it’s still going strong to this day. We’re now looking forward to introducing the company to the latest innovations in Zünd cutting technology and take them to the next level.’
