Xaar has announced the commercial launch of its Xaar 5601 print head. After eight years in development, the Xaar 5601 is generating significant interest with its high-resolution print at high speed, and more than 5600 nozzles, capable of jetting up to eight litres of fluid per hour.

At InPrint 2018, which runs from 20-22 November, Xaar will highlight how OEMs can use its print heads to get to market faster, develop inkjet solutions cost-effectively, and better meet their customers’ needs – enabling them to get ahead of the competition and achieve more.

Visitors to Xaar’s stand will be able to inspect a range of samples printed by the Xaar 5601, demonstrating why it is ideal for a range of applications including textiles, décor, packaging and commercial print. They will also be able to view a wide range of Xaar print heads, highlighting key sectors such as industrial print, advanced manufacturing and 3D printing.

Throughout the show, Xaar’s expertise will be underlined with a number of talks. As InPrint 2018’s official conference partner, the company will take part in a range of industry discussions over the three days. Finally, several Xaar partners will be showcasing their products and technology. One of these, Meteor Inkjet Ltd (stand 1034), is launching its new DropWatcher family of products, designed to evaluate and optimise print head and ink combinations. Visitors to Meteor’s stand will be able to see a DropWatcher in action, running the Xaar 1201 print head.
