X6 Digital has installed the first JW Digital Flatbed Cutter in South Africa at PrintDivision in Durban.
The JW digital cutters are available in the following sizes: 1100mm x 1300mm, 1300mm x 1800mm, 1700mm x 2500mm and 2000mm x 3000mm, with a camera function to detect crop marks for cutting.
The cutter has a flexi-dismountable tool-head made up of standard tools such as an oscillating knife, creasing wheel, plotting pen and laser pointers. More tool options include the Router tool, V-cut tool, Foam cutting knife, Kiss cutting knife and table-level measurer.
Applications include corrugated paper, cardboard, PVC, acrylic, composite materials, rubber sheet, foam and more.
