This week’s wrap features a fully electric BMW i3, wrapped in HEXIS HX2000 Glacier White material.
According to Sign Wonder’s production manager, Clive Cronje, the reason the client brought the vehicle to them was due to the vehicle’s original black colour attracting and retaining a lot of heat from the sun, especially in the summertime: ‘A white wrap would help reduce the sun’s attraction and in turn keep the vehicle cooler inside.’
‘The client opted for the HEXIS HX2000 Glacier White wrap. This selection offers a pristine white appearance when applied over the existing black colour. This is a truly great film when looking at cost factor versus quality and workability.’
‘Throughout the application process, we encountered minimal challenges, largely attributable to the vehicle’s favourable body lines and contours, which facilitated precise finishing. However, we found the removal of the vehicle’s door handles to be the most notable challenge. Despite this, our team of highly skilled installers approached the task with confidence.’
Cronje said the result was an amazing wrap that transformed the overall look of the vehicle and is exactly what the customer wanted.
