Printing SA is hosting a Regional Technical Forum this July in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban. The forum will provide technical insights and strategic guidance for companies seeking to expand or upgrade their production capabilities through digital technology. The events will take place in Cape Town on 8 July, Johannesburg on 10 July and KwaZulu-Natal on 11 July. The forum will help industry professionals determine the right time and approach to integrate digital printing into their existing production workflow. It will focus on decision-making criteria for digital print investment, complementary production strategies using both offset and digital systems, risk mitigation in adopting new technologies and market positioning with hybrid production capabilities.
The keynote speaker is Phil Walsh, a veteran of the printing industry with over 40 years of experience, including 22 years in digital printing. Walsh will present a session titled ‘When Is the Right Time to Go Digital?’ aimed at helping companies make informed technology adoption decisions.
