Modico was recently appointed as the distributor of Ovili Perspex and plastic benders, and used the recent Sign Africa and FESPA Africa expo as an opportunity to showcase these machines, of which 10 were sold at the event.
Ovili offers many different bending systems and options that allow users to produce a variety of products from small customised items like name tags, table signage and counter displays to large promotional items, hanging signs and complete displays. Ovili machines can bend most thermoplastic materials like ABS, Acrylics, (Plexiglas/PMMA), PC, PVC, PS, PET and can even bend Correx.
All Ovili systems include a complete set of heating elements, which ensure plastics won’t discolour and become yellowed. Every Ovili bending System has the ability to adjust the height of the heating source (element). This is crucial for regulating bending angles and adjusting for different materials.
Ovili bending machines are equipped with electronic control systems, which allow users to set the machine for repetitive work. This is very helpful and a time saving addition when producing duplicated or mass production.
The company also showcased its self-inking stamps, with an oil based ink that has a guaranteed shelf life (no drying out) of seven years.
