Neschen Expands Portfolio With Launch Of PET Mounting Film

Neschen has announced the launch of gudy® ultra clear, a 12µm PET film that features a crystal-clear, permanent pure acrylic adhesive. With the launch, Neschen is expanding its portfolio with a highly transparent PET mounting film designed for reverse applications on glass or acrylic glass – ideal for face-mount presentations and premium displays.

Both sides are equipped with ultra-transparent liners to ensure outstanding optical quality. This product is aimed at professional users in photography, art, and visual communication who require superior visual results with easy handling. Its excellent flatness supports smooth application – even for large format projects.

‘With gudy® ultra clear, we enable photo mounting behind acrylic glass with razor-sharp image quality – efficient in use and uncompromising in quality,’ said Moritz Weber, Teamlead Marketing at Neschen. ‘This film was developed for users who expect the highest optical standards.’

This new solution targets professionals in photography, printing, art, and advertising who seek a high-quality and reliable option for face-mount applications behind acrylic glass. Whether for backlit displays, exhibitions, galleries, or premium photo products, gudy® ultra clear sets new benchmarks in both quality and ease of use.

‘When developing gudy® ultra clear, our main focus was on optical performance, especially for premium applications like reverse mounting on glass or acrylic glass, where there can be no compromises,’ explained Dr. Yvonne Galinski, Head of Research and Development at Neschen. ‘The clear liners support precise application, resulting in a brilliant presentation with enhanced depth effect.’

Gudy® ultra clear is now available in widths of 104, 130, 140 and 155cm, each with a length of 50 metres. The PVC-free film is dimensionally stable and designed for indoor applications.
