Modico highlighted the applications that can be produced with the 3sixty printer — which can print on any cylindrical or coneform object, whether made from metal, glass, paper, wood, plastic etc. — at the Sign Africa and FESPA Africa Expo, which took place from 11-13 September.
Made in Sweden, it is renowned for its state-of-the-art UV-LED technology, and its speed (up to 80 bottles per hour). 3sixty produces crisp sharp results even at high speed printing up to 1200 x 900dpi. It also features simplified workflow with high speed and print quality. 3sixty is ideal for producing smooth gradients and lifelike images on cylindrical objects.
3sixty supports:
• Multilayer full colour print.
• White ink for full coverage on dark products.
• Primer for better adhesion (optional)/varnish for more effects (optional).
The company also displayed its range of high-tech stamp machines and stamp consumables at the expo. Modico uses a new and revolutionary manufacturing method for stamps: the permanent stamp – also known as Flash Stamp, because it is produced with a flash-unit. Sharp and even imprints of best quality characterise these kinds of stamps.
Modico showcased a wide range of Yellotools’ tools for signmakers. Michael Althoff from Yellotools Germany was on the stand demonstrating the tools’ versatility. Modico will launch a Yellotools online store soon.
