Midcomp is expanding its digital textile portfolio with the DGI Hercules II, a high-productivity 1.6 m dye-sublimation printer designed for growing textile businesses. Featuring four-colour CMYK printing, speeds of up to 130 sqm/h and a resolution of up to 720 × 2400 dpi, the Hercules II combines Epson i3200 printheads with variable 2.5-picolitre droplets for sharp detail, vibrant colour and consistent output.
Its dual external dryers, positioned at the front and bottom, enhance drying performance and print quality for high-speed printing. The bulk-type ink system is designed to allow ink refilling even during printing, enabling non-stop production. The take-up system can accommodate a maximum of 200 linear metres.
The newly designed suction-type capping station enables easy, efficient and effortless unclogging of print nozzles. Ideal for soft signage, sportswear, fashion and home textiles, the Hercules II opens up new opportunities across high-demand textile applications.
