Midcomp has announced that its charity drive initiative has reached 200 schools, and has impacted over 100,000 children.
Marketing director Sean Greer explained, ‘When we embarked on implementing a corporate governance programme, we established that our company promise was to identify ‘catalysts for growth’, not just by way of increasing sales, but nurturing and bettering businesses. This is a company mandate that we live up to to this day, which extends beyond the realm of businesses, and through to community upliftment.’
Delta ‘The Leo’ Choshi, a world champion hip-hop dancer and Midcomp’s company ambassador, helped create a department for Midcomp to identify charities, children’s homes and educational drives throughout the year. In 2017 alone, the company identified 200 schools to visit, spend time with and provide educational material to.
This has been the result of a continual process. The company has also been selling calendars to its customers to raise proceeds for its charity drive, and a percentage of Midcomp’s revenue is put back into the community.
‘A huge thank you to all Midcomp’s loyal customers, if it was not for your support we wouldn’t be able to be involved in as many social responsibility initiatives as we are, nor would we be able to have a dedicated person to manage them,’ added Greer.
