Metamark Wrapping Products Used To Brand Touring Truck

Metamark Wrapping Products Brand Touring Truck

A variety of Metamark products were used for a touring truck project. These included the company’s MD-X wrapping materials, MGX laminate and more.

Moving a major rock band around the country from one venue to the next involves a lot of people and a considerable armoury of hardware dedicated to logistics and support. The most obvious elements of the whole entourage are usually the huge, branded vehicles that may house both people and the required hardware. Beyond the show itself, the ‘tour’ arriving in town makes a notable impact of its own.

It’s much the same when a major golf event comes to terms with the need to deliver itself and its celebrity athletes and all the support they, and the brand need.

In golf’s case the tour vehicles serve a few needs. In addition to moving the brand’s sponsored athlete’s tools of the trade around, the vehicles are home to impressive hospitality suites, display areas to entertain the visiting (and adoring) public, and workshops with every tool needed to hand.

The workshop itself will be responsible to fine-tuning and maintaining the athletes’ equipment. Golf’s elite will expect their club sponsors to be able, during tournaments, to make fine adjustments and repairs to keep them performing well. That’s often done on a per-course basis.

Taylor Made is one of the industry’s biggest names and its clubs are out there and in the hands of some of the world’s best-known professional players. It is a company at the leading edge of the technology-led development of the sport and one of its major brands. Taylor Made found its way to the doors of Bence Creative to have its tour truck turned into a rolling billboard promoting the company and all that its reputation stands behind.

Bence is no stranger to the needs of companies fielding highly specialised vehicles for application in areas as diverse as the provision of emergency services and, well, keeping a major golf entourage in good shape. The company has a competence in vehicle body manufacture and conversion that’s known internationally and its respected livery graphics division – Bence Creative.

The team at Bence was sent a complex suite of design files and data for the Taylor Made tour truck and it first job was imposing the design on the vehicle so that it could be manufactured and applied. The 2025 Taylor Made campaign graphics are impactful and elevate an already stellar golf-brand. The Bence team’s work is evident from the first stroke – the whole livery is applied in single horizontal strips so there are no vertical joins uncomfortably punctuating the lines of the vehicle.

The whole job is an inside and out affair. The external aspects reflect the livery branding and 2025 promotion. Inside, identity continuations and ambient graphics dominate. The impression overall simply radiates stature, substance and quality in itself, and this favourably halos the apex-brand that is Taylor Made.

The Bence team produced the printed elements of the branding and livery on a Mimaki UJV printer using Metamark MD-X wrapping material and that was laminated with the material’s matching MGX laminate. The result is not just attractive, it’s artefact free and flawlessly applied.

Part of the trailer is glazed to maintain a view to the exterior from inside the vehicle. From the outside, these glazed surfaces comprise part of the overall livery and so Bence used Metamark ClearVision to continue the design elements. Clear Vision presents an apparently solid surface, printed in this case, to the exterior, but from inside, it facilitates an uninterrupted view out thanks to a dense grid of perforations in the material.

Further ambient graphics and lettering inside the trailer involve materials from Metamark’s Etch Films portfolio and some very attractive elements in Gunmetal Grey from Metamark’s 7 Series SignVinyl range. The cut and applied elements counterpoint the print devices and sharpen the overall impression to great effect.

Taylor Made has a towering reputation in the golf fraternity and its brand commands a very big equity that was obviously in safe hands with the Bence team. What they’ve delivered is capable of commanding its share-of-the-air and extracting promotional value that’s practically inestimable when attached to major golf tours.

Bence Creative operates comfortably dealing with highly specialised vehicle and celebrity-calibre branding and promotion. Its work is practical and durable, and it makes potent statement on the part of the world’s major brands. The company is in the business of meeting complex needs with engagement and capability. It’s work with Taylor Made, make the case brilliantly.
