Coastline used Metamark MD5-AH digital media because of its handling characteristics and dependable performance during a demanding elevated installation where repositioning or failure would have been difficult and costly.
Coastline completed a large format branding installation for long-standing customer Muntons, applying oversized graphics to prominent industrial silos at the company’s Stowmarket facility. The project combined complex access requirements with the challenges of installing graphics at height within a live operational site.
The scale of the structures created immediate challenges. Once installed, the silos stood approximately 15 metres high. Access equipment therefore became a critical consideration. Because the silos were positioned back from the lower framework, the installation team required specialist machinery capable of vertical reach and horizontal outreach. Operational logistics added further complexity. Installation scheduling had to work around deliveries and vehicle movements within the active Muntons yard, extending planning and coordination over several weeks.
Metamark MD5-AH digital media proved straightforward to handle despite the scale of the graphics and the challenging working conditions at height. Production quality and consistency were particularly important given the size and visibility of the finished installation.
