Kyta Industries has created visual banners, in-store communication products and face shields using 3A Composites’ materials.

LUMEX® G (0.5mm) was used to create the face shields, which were designed for the retail and construction sectors. Kyta Industries head of retail Brian Smith chose the material for its ease of use in production, chemical resistance (which makes it easier to clean), and UV protection. LUMEX® G is the best choice for thermoforming and hot line bending applications. The sheets have a low flammability fire rating.

For the in-store communication/large shelf talker, LUMEX® A (1mm) was used. The material is designed for retail supermarkets, and was chosen for its suitability for food areas, impact resistance, eco-friendliness, chemical resistance (which assists with cleaning in-store) and its 100% recyclability, which the client requires specifically to maintain their green footprint.

LUMEX® A is ideally suited to flat and arched applications. The sheets are flame-retardant and impact resistant even at sub-zero temperatures, and show good outdoor durability in the variant with UV protection.

For the banners, DISPA® board (3.8mm) was used. It is designed for retail supermarkets, and chosen for its lightweight properties, ease of use in printing and cutting, and rigidity and strength. It is also eco-friendly and 100% recyclable. DISPA® features a flat, smooth surface and has ideal stability.

‘I received expert advice and input from 3A Composites. If I need valuable information, they are just a phone call away,’ said Smith.
