Kornit Digital will debut the Kornit Paradigm industrial direct-to-garment printer to the North American Market at Imprinted Sportswear Show (ISS) in Long Beach, taking place from 18-20 January.
This industrial direct-to-garment printer, fastened to already-owned operational carousels, adds a digital station that is compatible with both manual and automatic screen printing carousels using Spectra Polaris print heads that are available with CMYK inks. Designed to empower screen printers to combine printing techniques and create multiple innovative printing applications, the printer enables unlimited colour possibilities and photorealistic images while incorporating screen effects with the use of screen techniques such as glitter, cracking, foil, flock and burn-out.
The Kornit Paradigm is also capable of producing dark garment prints with screen discharge or white ink under-base, complicated four colour processes, spot and metallic combinations. The use of the Kornit Paradigm digital add-on station reduces setup time and screen preparation cost that enhance short-run efficiency and profitability.
Yuval Neria, Corporate Marketing Director at Kornit Digital, said, ‘The Kornit Paradigm solution is the outcome of a paradigm shift in the direct-to-garment printing industry. Printers can now combine the best of two worlds: analogue and digital printing, and it’s the best solution for garment decorators and screen printers that are looking to adapt to the growing needs of the fashion industry.’
Attendees to ISS Long Beach in January will see the Kornit Paradigm, Kornit Avalanche DC Pro, Kornit Storm II and Kornit Breeze printers in action. The Kornit Avalanche DC Pro creates a differentiated printing experience, helping businesses achieve a premium hand feel, higher revenue and shorter turnaround times by using less white ink layers and eliminating the need for a costly pre-treatment process.
Additionally, the Kornit Storm II, with its advanced and fully automated system, provides full control of the design and resolution with its improved capabilities for positioning different media types. The Kornit Breeze offers customers an industrial, yet small, direct-to-garment printer designed to allow garment decorators to use high-end technology benefits at entry-level costs.
