IMAGO Printer presented two product directions for industrial digital printing applications: IMAGO Sapphire and IMAGO series US. Both systems reflect the company’s process-led approach to UV LED printing, with a focus on repeatable product personalisation and digital marking or decoration integrated into production environments.
IMAGO Sapphire is a UV LED direct-to-object platform designed for companies that need a more predictable way to manage product personalisation. The system is intended for print teams, personalisation businesses and producers working with varied objects and frequent changeovers.
Rather than positioning Sapphire as a generic UV printer, IMAGO presents it as a platform for making direct-to-object work easier to repeat in daily production. The focus is on operator workflow, changeover handling, modularity, serviceability and direct manufacturer support. This approach is particularly relevant for businesses that need flexibility without losing control over setup, production rhythm and output consistency.
IMAGO series US addresses a different production challenge: how to move digital marking and decoration closer to the production flow. In many industrial environments, labelling, screen printing, pad printing or outsourced marking remain separate operations outside the main line. This printer is designed as a configured production project, not a catalogue machine, and is developed around the customer’s line, substrate and implementation requirements.
The one-piece-flow approach starts with the process before machine configuration. Typical discussions include the material to be marked, required repeatability, ink and adhesion considerations, mechanical integration, operator access, line communication and the point at which printing should enter the production flow. IMAGO supports this through application review, substrate testing and engineering discussion before the final system configuration is defined.
At FESPA Barcelona, IMAGO used Sapphire and series US to show two practical routes for industrial digital printing: direct-to-object personalisation made more repeatable, and inline marking or decoration designed around a production process.
