Demand for outdoor durable, VOC-free inkjet inks used by sign shops and print providers has grown dramatically, giving rise to the need for a reliable, economical aftermarket alternative. IIMAK invested 18 months to develop the industry’s first aqueous replacement ink capable of producing robust, vibrant signs and graphics without compromising quality, durability or throughput.
‘Our R&D team’s ingenious approach to the ResinJet’s chemistry enabled us to achieve a true ‘plug and play’ water-based digital ink,’ said James Andreottola, IIMAK channel manager, wide format inks. ‘Our solution withstands the rigours of both outdoor and indoor graphics. ResinJet’s chemistry is fully qualified and tested, proving its high compatibility with the OEM. Changeover is easy as no flushing and no new colour profiles are required. ResinJet is virtually odourless and offers excellent adhesion on a variety of media, including cast and calendared vinyl, wall coverings and banner materials. The ink set includes six colours available in bulk or remanufactured cartridges.
